Who we are
This site is run by Dot Digital Networks Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore ("we"), the registry operator behind .labs. Our site for the public waitlist is thelabscompany.com.
What we collect
- When you write to us: why you are writing, your name, your email address and your request.
- With the form, automatically: your IP address and the approximate location it indicates (country and city), your device and browser type, your language and time zone, the page that sent you here, campaign tags in the link (UTM), and your analytics visitor ID.
- When you visit: we measure traffic with DataFast. It sets first-party cookies to recognise returning visitors. We use no advertising cookies.
Why
- To answer your request.
- To keep our form free of spam and abuse.
- To understand where interest in .labs comes from.
Where it is kept and who helps us
This site and its form run on Vercel, and what you send is stored in Google Sheets. Requests are also forwarded to us through Slack and by email (Resend). Visits are measured with DataFast. These providers process data only on our behalf, and some may do so outside Singapore with protection comparable to Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. We do not sell your data.
How long
- Requests: as long as needed to follow up, and no longer than 24 months.
- IP address and technical details: 12 months.
